Maria
Office Administrator
Maria has been working alongside her husband, Dr. Greico, in the dental field for over 20 years. She continuously sets new goals for the office and strives for success in everything that she does. She is driven by her faith, which helps her work harder at reaching out to staff and patients, which is her favorite part about working at Dental Essence. Maria feels that when she is helping others, she is helping herself as well. For Maria, as well as for the rest of the staff members, it’s not strictly about teeth, but about caring for the entire person, which is why she is responsible for the cozy and calming atmosphere of the office, including the soft music, coffee, fresh-baked cookies, and lively decor. Maria believes that treating every patient like a member of the family contributes to the success and well-being of the practice and the patients, too. Maria graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and taught grade school and special education students for many years. Her hobbies include reading, writing, singing, dancing, crafting, party planning, interior decorating, cooking, and baking.
Amanda
Office Manager & Treatment Plan Coordinator
Amanda has been working at Dental Essence since its inception in 2005, but many patients will remember her from Dr. Greico’s old dental office in Chicago. She has been working in the dental field for over 20 years. A dedicated and hard worker, Amanda enjoys being able to assist and accommodate patients throughout the course of their dental treatment. Amanda loves the people she works and tries her hardest to be accurate and efficient at everything she does. Outside of work, Amanda spends time with her husband, daughter, family, friends and her dog Nino. She enjoys concerts, baking, music and going to the park.
Silvana
Registered Dental Hygienist
Silvana came to work at Dental Essence in 2010. She has spent around 20 years in the dental field, most of which she has spent as a registered dental hygienist. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Southern Illinois University and is also certified by the Academy of Laser Dentistry. Silvana enjoys providing high-quality care to all of her patients. Silvana is fulfilled by being able to utilize her skills and share her knowledge with patients who want a healthy mouth and a healthy body. Being in a career that she truly enjoys drives her to be great at what she does. She feels that working as a part of the strong team at Dental Essence is like working with her family. Outside of work, Silvana enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, listening to music, and dancing.
Lilly
Registered Dental Hygienist
With over 10 years of experience in the dental field, Lilly began working at Dental Essence in 2015. She earned her hygiene degree from the College of DuPage in 2010 and has been making smiles brighter ever since. Lilly strives to do her best every day with every patient. She especially loves seeing patients improve their oral care and seeing the results of the hard work they put in. She also enjoys the comfort and welcoming feeling that the staff at Dental Essence brings to everybody. Outside of work, Lilly teaches yoga classes to CrossFitters and enjoys spending time with her family and her goldendoodle, Savannah.
Nick
Registered Dental Hygienist
Nick has spent his entire life around dentistry under the guidance of his father, Dr. Greico, and has been working at Dental Essence since 2005. Fascinated by the oral cavity and driven by a desire to care for others, Nick is on his path to becoming a dentist, having earned his Bachelor’s degree at Loyola University Chicago and his Dental Hygiene degree from the College of DuPage. Nick says that the best thing about working at Dental Essence is the ability to meet new people, scale their teeth, and guide them down the path to great oral health. He also enjoys having fun with his family and coworkers every day; it is truly a blast. Outside of work, Nick enjoys playing music, being around family and friends, and watching sports.
Hannah
Registered Dental Hygienist
Hannah started at Dental Essence in 2020, and looks forward to many more years to come. She studied Dental Hygiene at the College of DuPage from 2018 to 2020 and after graduating hygiene school, went on to get her Bachelor’s Degree in Arts from Concordia University of Chicago. Hannah grew up in Villa Park and is a Willowbrook High School alumni. Throughout her life she has loved to dance and spent her childhood dancing and cheerleading! She now enjoys to cook, bake and workout, especially because it helps to have a strong core and back when performing dental hygiene.
Annamaria
Sterilization/Hygiene Assistant
Annamaria began her journey as an employee of Dental Essence in October 2022. However, Annamaria first started as a patient of Dr. Greico. It was during her visits that Annamaria became enamored with all facets of dentistry. She currently assists the hygienists and performs sterilization of instruments and equipment, and plans to obtain certificates in phlebotomy and dental hygiene after finishing high school. During her free time, Annamaria enjoys all things cars as well as spending time with her family and friends. Annamaria’s driven attitude, attention to detail, and pleasant demeanor complement the office environment.
Elvis
Receptionist
Elvis has been a part of the staff at Dental Essence since 2007 and has been working in the dental field for over 24 years. A true healthcare professional, Elvis is driven by the friendly work environment which feels like family, and our great dentists. Elvis loves working with people and helping them throughout the course of their dental treatment. She enjoys seeing and being a part of the change in people’s smiles. Aside from dentistry, Elvis enjoys art, reading, gardening and spending time with her family and friends.
Cindy
Assistant
Cindy has been working at Dental Essence since 2008 and has spent 16 years assisting in the dental field. She loves working at Dental Essence because it gives her the opportunity to help people, get to know them, and build relationships. Cindy insists on treating all patients like family, because family is such a big part of her life. She is a mother of four and devotes all of her life and time in and out of work to them. Cindy also enjoys spending her off-days with family and friends. She has a passion for crafting and is an expert party planner.
Angelina
Assistant
Angelina began working at Dental Essence in 2013 and is the youngest child of Dr. Greico. She would like to be a dentist when she grows up as well, so she values this opportunity for the chance to learn new things every day. Outside of work, she enjoys playing volleyball and basketball.
Effie
Receptionist
Effie has been working in the dental field since 1985 and at Dental Essence since 2015. Extremely caring about each and every patient, Effie is devoted to treating patients like family and providing the best care possible for them. A wife and mother of three, she enjoys cooking, baking, gardening, music, concerts, and spending time with family, friends, and her dog Rocco.
Georgya
Receptionist
Georgya has been working at Dental Essence since 2016, but stepped away in 2020 and returned in 2022. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management from Concordia University of Chicago and is currently working on getting her Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration. Georgya loves working in the healthcare field and helping others, while building a relationship with our patients. Outside of work, Georgya loves to spend time with her family and friends. A few of her hobbies include singing, dancing, and painting.
